Seeking to promote local talents in the ICT sector, the Huawei Seeds for the Future Program supported ten Filipino delegates to represent the Philippines along with the 16 countries from Asia Pacific Region during the Seeds for the Future Asia Pacific held in Thailand from August 19 – 29, 2022. 

The Filipino delegates were IT and STEM Honor Students with startup backgrounds. Some of were Alumni of the Philippine Startup Challenge under the Department of Information and Communications Technology ICT Industry Development Bureau. The delegates presented a “Tech4Good” pitch that proposed technical solutions for social problems.

Meanwhile, a send-off lunch for the Filipino delegates of Huawei’s Seeds for the Future Program was held last August 16, 2022, at Ascott Bonifacio Global City.
