QC LGU Launches Startup QC
Highlighting the need to support startups to increase Business Friendliness, The Quezon City Government, through its new program, Startup QC, brought together various stakeholders of the Startup Ecosystem at the Quezon City City Hall last October 28, Friday, to host its grand launch.
Supporting the growth of startup ecosystems all over the Philippines, particularly the countryside, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), in partnership with the Bicol Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Center for Accelerating Local Livelihood (BEECALL) Technology Incubator, launched its pilot regional acceleration project in Naga City, Bicol on September 2, 2022.
Seeking to promote local talents in the ICT sector, the Huawei Seeds for the Future Program supported ten Filipino delegates to represent the Philippines along with the 16 countries from Asia Pacific Region during the Seeds for the Future Asia Pacific held in Thailand from August 19 – 29,2022.
The virtual bootcamp held last August 03, 2022 gathered partners and stakeholder from the Startup industry to share good practices in transforming ideas into potential startups that solve social problems, as well as to open discussions on developing entrepreneurial and technical skills among the educators.
